Overtime the car fuel tanks accumulate particles that affect the quality of fuel in the tank and also condensate.
This happens for several reasons:
- Getting rubbish during fueling
- Leaks in the fuel tank
- Deterioration products of the fuel system, which are falling back by return flow of fuel
- The temperature difference of fuel and the environment, which leads to the format of condensation (water) in the tank.
It is also not rare cases of concentration foreign particles due to mechanical damage elements of thr design of the fuel tank.
To prevent deterioration or damage to the fuel system it is recommended to clean the fuel tank.
For this purpose used: fuel tank highpressure wash and special detergents. If there is damage to the fuel tank – it should be removed immediately!
